This is a solid program and is a highly recommended sober living home. I work for a non-profit specializing in offering sober living scholarships and have placed several of recipients in a couple of these homes and so far have seen success! Robby is truly invested in helping men recover and puts a lot of effort, concern and love into everyone who comes here!
Sober living is a type of housing that provides a drug-free and supportive living environment for individuals who are in recovery from addiction. It offers a structured environment that encourages accountability and responsibility, and provides opportunities for individuals to connect with others who are going through similar experiences.
Sober living at our recovery house in Colorado Springs, Colorado is generally available to individuals who have completed a drug or alcohol treatment program and are committed to maintaining their sobriety. Many sober living facilities have specific requirements around length of sobriety, employment or education, and willingness to follow house rules.
Sober living offers many benefits for individuals in recovery, including a supportive and drug-free environment, opportunities for peer support and connection, access to resources and services that can support recovery, and a structured environment that encourages accountability and responsibility.
Rules of sober living can vary depending on the facility, but generally include requirements around maintaining sobriety, attending recovery meetings or therapy, contributing to household chores and responsibilities, respecting other residents’ privacy and property, and adhering to curfew and visitation policies.
The length of stay in sober living can vary depending on the individual’s needs and goals. Some facilities offer short-term stays, while others offer longer-term options for individuals who need more time to build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.
While some insurance plans may cover the cost of sober living, it is important to check with the specific facility and the individual’s insurance provider to determine what costs are covered.
While there is some overlap between sober living and halfway houses, sober living facilities generally offer a more structured and supportive environment for individuals in recovery. Halfway houses may provide transitional housing for individuals who are transitioning out of prison or a treatment program, but may not offer the same level of support and resources for recovery as sober living facilities.
Finding the right sober living environment has never been easier. Whether you’re transitioning from treatment, need accountability and structure, or are working through co-occurring challenges, Elevate Recovery Homes provides comprehensive, individualized care designed to support your path to lasting recovery.
