Ask Us Anything

Sober living homes provide safe, structured housing for individuals transitioning from treatment back into everyday life. At Elevate Recovery Homes, our sober living homes in Denver, CO offer accountability, community, and support for men committed to long-term recovery.

Sober living is not inpatient treatment — it is a recovery-focused living environment designed to help residents maintain sobriety while rebuilding independence. Residents typically attend outpatient treatment, work, go to school, or participate in recovery programs while living in a supportive home with peers who share similar goals.

Our Denver sober living homes provide:

  • A drug and alcohol-free environment
  • Structured house guidelines and accountability
  • Random drug and alcohol testing
  • Peer support and community connection
  • Required participation in recovery meetings
  • Leadership development and personal growth opportunities

This structure bridges the gap between inpatient treatment and fully independent living.

Sober living is a structured, drug and alcohol-free residential environment for people transitioning out of inpatient treatment or detox. Unlike rehab, sober living isn’t a clinical treatment program — residents have freedom to work, attend school, and come and go during the day while still being held accountable to house rules, curfews, and regular drug testing. It’s the bridge between treatment and fully independent living.

No. While many residents transition into sober living directly from detox or a treatment program, it is not always required.

Sober living homes are designed for anyone committed to maintaining sobriety and building a stable lifestyle in recovery. Whether you are stepping down from treatment or simply looking for a structured environment to support your recovery, sober living can be a great next step.

No, Elevate Recovery Homes does not accept insurance for Sober Living. Most sober living homes do not bill insurance directly, because sober living is considered supportive housing rather than clinical treatment.

However, many residents use insurance for outpatient treatment, therapy, or recovery programs while living in sober housing. Our team can help connect you with partner providers if you need clinical services during your stay.

The length of stay varies based on your recovery goals and progress.

Most residents stay between 3 and 12 months, but some choose to stay longer if they continue benefiting from the structure, accountability, and supportive community.

The goal is to help residents build a strong foundation before transitioning to independent living.

Sober living homes maintain structure to support long-term recovery. Residents are expected to follow house guidelines such as:

  • Maintaining sobriety

  • Participating in house meetings or recovery activities

  • Respecting curfews and house policies

  • Keeping shared spaces clean
